When should we arrive to Roche Harbor?
We highly recommend arriving on Tuesday, the day before the wedding, to avoid any ferry-day stress and give yourself plenty of time to settle in and enjoy Roche Harbor.
If you plan to travel on the wedding day, please note that the latest ferry you should take from Anacortes is the noon ferry in order to arrive at the venue on time. Ferry reservations are highly recommended, as sailings can fill up quickly.
We would hate for you to miss the big moment, so please plan ahead and give yourself extra travel time!
Why did we choose Roche Harbor?
We chose Roche Harbor because it captures everything we love about the Pacific Northwest. When we first took the ferry through the San Juan Islands, we were completely taken by the scenery — the water, the mountains, the evergreens, and the quiet magic of the islands. It was one of the most beautiful PNW experiences we have ever had, and we knew we wanted our guests to experience that same feeling.
Since our wedding weekend kicks off around Fourth of July, Roche Harbor felt even more special. The town brings together historic charm, island-style celebration, cannon fire, a festive parade, and fireworks over the harbor. It felt like the perfect place to begin a weekend full of love, celebration, and unforgettable memories.
How do we reserve lodging at Roche Harbor?
Look out for our room block code on the website — it will be available in February with booking instructions and the reservation link.
